I have always been fascinated with design on all levels, but illustration is special. For me it’s all about communicating feelings and emotions without words. Recognize this name? If you do, it might mean that you’re an avid reader of Horse Glam—Andrea has a custom Lara-designed portrait!
With a “less is more” approach, Lara pairs strong color with bold, yet simple, shapes to form her signature style. Being unbound by the creative limits in the real world, there’s no denying the talent behind Lara’s stunning illustrations. One look and it’s easy to see why:
Lara may describe herself as professional illustrator, animator and designer; but between you and me, I think she’s being modest. Her web shop boasts an artist who’s full of versatility. Lara’s work reflects her passion for horses. Their physical beauty and grace, coupled with exceptional spirit and playfulness make them an object of admiration and a source of inspiration since childhood.
I think the Dancing Horses print is my favorite design to-date. One of my first comments to Lara on Instagram was that her work should be on wallpaper, so imagine my excitement when this appeared in my Insta feed:
